Rotary is a global network of 1.4 million neighbors, friends, leaders and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change - across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.

Since 1905 Rotarians have believed that we have a shared responsibility to take action on our world's most persistent issues.  Rotary International's primary areas of focus are:
  • Promote peace
  • Fight disease
  • Provide clean water, sanitation and hygiene
  • Save mothers and children
  • Support education
  • Grow local economies
  • Protect the environment

Rotary International was begun as a way for professionals with diverse backgrounds to exchange ideas and form meaningful, lifelong friendships.  It has evolved into a worldwide network of people no matter what their profession or stage of life that still includes exchanging ideas, forming friendships, but also focuses heavily on humanitarian and community service.

As a global network, Rotary values diversity and celebrates the contributions of people of all backgrounds, regardless of their age, ethnicity, race, color, abilities, religion, socioeconomic status, culture, sex, sexual orientation and gender identity.

Local community clubs make up the basis of Rotary.  All clubs are part of district level organizations which form Rotary International.  Click here to learn more about Rotary International.  Click here if you would like to learn more about our Rotary District 5520.

The Rotarian            4-Way Test
►  Is it the TRUTH?
►  Is it FAIR to all
      concerned?
►  Will it Build GOODWILL
      and better FRIENDSHIPS?
►  Will it be BENEFICIAL
      to all concerned?
